Projectiles, Breech And Muzzle Loaded
NOTICE:
All projectiles, fuzes and related items presented for sale or display on this website are inert.
Each has been professionally inspected and when necessary non-inert materials have been removed. These non-inert materials include gun powders both black and smokeless, composition materials, detonators, rocket propellants, cordite, lift charges, illumination, marking, smoke and incendiary compositions, primers and tracers. Items that are sealed or constructed in such a way that the non-inert material cannot be removed without damage to item have been drilled and said material then removed. Drill holes to this end are filled with plastic to maintain the appearance of the item.
Some projectiles are "INERT LOADED" and noted so. These are practice projectiles that are loaded with an inert material that causes the projectile to duplicate the weight and ballistic's of a live projectile. Specifically for training purposes.
For additional information please direct you request to the address's on the information section of this site.

Cliff Notes:
Before And After:
Many, many years ago I bought 6 relic 90 and 105mm HEP projectiles from a dealer in Nevada who had connections with an EOD facility. I decided to save one in it's as received condition. Good to have a lathe, bondo and plenty of time.
The guy's name was Sam and he was quite the character. Italian and from New York City, Sam would call me to wheel and deal some stuff or just to BS. In fact, on occasion I'd call him with questions about projectile markings, colors and etc. I learned a lot from him. Great Guy, I wish I knew where he was and how he's doing. He closed his business down after the OKC bombing.

-Armor piercing nose cone for a very large projectile. (I think)
-The cone is very fine threaded and is also drilled for a spanner wrench.
-Paint is original.
-Item is stamped: 675G The G is not clear and it may not be a G. Perhaps a 6 or an 8. However, the 675 is clear and this would rule out a 175MM projectile.
